Adult Choir 

 

The Village Baptist Church offers a unique service opportunity with the Adult Choir. The choir leads the congregation in praise and glorifies God through psalms, hymns and spiritual songs while encouraging the hearts of God’s people. Under the direction of Joe Webb, this group sings each Sunday morning at 10:30 am.

 

If you love to sing, you have a place right here! We are always looking for singers in all voice parts. You don’t have to have a background in music or prior singing experience to join the Adult Choir. Regular attendance at Wednesday night rehearsals is required.  You will be blessed in giving your time and talent to the Lord through the ministry of music. There is no audition for the worship choir.  We welcome you and would be delighted for you to join.

 

If you desire an incredible experience in leading worship as a choir member each week, we invite you to visit a rehearsal this Wednesday at 6:30 pm, in our choir room located behind the sanctuary.

Our Praise Team is a small dynamic group of adult singers who lead the congregation into the presence of the Lord by encouraging them to praise and worship Him freely. When we all sing, praise, and worship together, the presence of the Holy Spirit and the power of God become evident.

  

The team rehearses on Wednesday evenings and leads us in Worship Service along with The Village Baptist Choir every Sunday morning at 10:30 am.
 

The Praise Team is always looking for vocal talent and invite you to consider joining if you are gifted in this area. The Praise Team is by audition only for active members of The Village Baptist Church.

Our Praise Band is a dynamic ensemble of adult musicians using their skills to the glory of God. Worship not only comes from the lyrics the vocalist sings, but also through the music the instrumentalist plays. The Praise Band ministers each week during our Sunday morning 10:30 am service, leading our congregation in worship.

 

The Praise Band is by audition only.  We continually seek talented musicians. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary.

The Audio-Video Team provides audio and visual aids to enrich spiritual growth, biblical knowledge and Christian development for our congregation. This team oversees the operation of all audio/visual needs including, but not limited to, microphones, lighting, sound systems, and power point presentations. The team supports the many ministries of our church that have need of these services.  Audio/Video Technicians are a ministry that not only supports worship but is a worship ministry in themselves. They use their talents in the technical arts to honor God, and to support one another and our church family.
