Here at The Village Baptist Church we believe that Worship is a Lifestyle!
Worship is giving thanks to God in all that we do.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:16,17
We believe that Scripture teaches that worship is an attitude of a person’s heart! Each Worship Service is a celebration of our wonderful Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in a musical style that will bless you, followed by a message from God’s Word that will encourage and challenge you in your relationship with Christ.
Our musical style is “blended”. Some enjoy traditional worship with classic hymns while others enjoy more contemporary music. The Village Baptist Church strives for both in our “blended” service at 10:30 am. Our worship services seek to lead individuals to an authentic worship. We utilize methods to present the unchanging truth of Jesus Christ through music and video centered around weekly sermons. We sing songs, hymns, and scripture songs. There are voices, drums, guitars, keyboards, piano, hand-claps, raised hands and quiet moments. We read and study God’s Word together. We pray.
