God has given every Christian spiritual gifts for doing the work of the ministry in everyday life and through the church. Take a moment and look at the ministries listed. Whether you are helping in a children’s class or greeting visitors, you will grow closer to the Lord, those you serve and those who serve with you.
A weekly event for elementary children to participate in games, scripture memory and crafts; and to be exposed to local and foreign missions. (meets every Wednesday, September to June)
CHILDREN’S VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
An annual event on the church grounds which include, Bible teaching classes, stories, games, crafts, and songs, all with application to practical living.
This ministry provides worship on the elementary level during the adult worship service. Ages 1st -6th grade.
EXTENDED PRESCHOOL CARE
This ministry cares for preschoolers, birth to kindergarten age, during Worship and other services, setting the foundation for trusting the Lord with biblical principles and love.
SUNDAY SCHOOL - PRESCHOOL
Classes that provide Christian principles for children from newborns to kindergartners.
The Children’s Choir participates in the worship service,in their own productions, and join with the Adult Choir for some productions.
SUNDAY SCHOOL - ELEMENTARY
Bible learning classes of 1st - 6th graders include games, discussions of Bible stories and characters with applications to practical living.
Youth meets Sunday mornings for Bible study.
Through weekly Bible study, mission outreach, relationship building activities and leadership training, this ministry leads men to make Jesus Christ the center of their lives, to reach beyond any barriers to demonstrate the poser of biblical unity, and to encourage and inspire men to become all they can be in Christ.
This ministry enriches the lives of adult women through weekly Bible studies, fellowships, prayer partnering and seminars.
SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY
Our mission is to provide a variety of opportunities for ministry, fun, fellowship and outreach. Our desire is that every senior experience the love and joy of Christian fellowship and to have the eternal hope of salvation through Jesus Christ.
This ministry team visits local prisons, encouraging and witnessing to prisoners.
The Feed the Hungry ministry supplies free canned and dry goods to families once a month and also operates a program called Share, which allows anyone to buy frozen meat and fresh vegetables and fruit about half the grocery store prices. A vocal group that participates in the worship services as well as civic programs.
A team of instrumentalists who play for worship services.
This ministry gives members the opportunity to share their musical gifts in the worship service.
A team who sets up and monitors the sound for music and worship activities.
This ministry coordinates and produces audio CD's for those who miss a service or live out of the area.
The welcoming team that assists people into the worship service by handing out bulletins, overseeing the service in general, and assisting people where needed.
The welcoming team that warmly greets everyone who is on their way to the worship service with a handshake and a smile. These people give first impressions of friendliness, acceptance, and love to members, attendees and visitors alike.
The resource table displays materials for members and visitors relating to the ministries of the church. A team of people determine materials to be used and help in the set up and administration.
LAYERS OF CARE
This ministry is a "writing" ministry, sending cards to those who visit Worship services.
The Discovery Steps is designed to assist in the development of new and current church members.
This team prays for and follows up on every specific prayer request that comes through the registration tear-offs. They coordinate all church prayer chains and prayer events.
GriefShare is a nondenominational group and emphasizes biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. It meets weekly.
Radio equipped men and women who patrol the grounds on a golf cart, monitoring and reporting suspicious activities on the grounds so that law enforcement can be notified.
Through stewardship, men and women use their God-given talents working together in the spirit of fellowship to accomplish the maintenance needs of the building and grounds.
This team insures that all the bulletin inserts are included. They work in the church office on Fridays.
Located on the second floor, this ministry has provided a Christian library filled with resources for teachers, serious Bible scholars and those wishing to read some of the most recent Christian fiction and nonfiction.
