Philippians 3:7- “But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.” When Paul spoke of his “profit”, he was referring to his credentials, credits and successes. After showing that he could beat the Judaizers at their own game (being proud of who they were and what they had done), Paul showed that it was the wrong game. Be careful of considering past achievements so important that they get in the way of your relationship with Christ. Life Application Bible NIV.

PKAdventure: April 12, 2008 was the first time PKAdventure was held in Palm Beach County. (http://www.promisekeepers.org/pkadventure) The event was held at Regal Cinemas 18 in Royal Palm Beach. We had approximately 32 in attendance. I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the leadership team for all your hard work.

Ambassador Training : I conducted Ambassador Training on April 26 in Sanford which is just north of Orlando. ( www.promisekeepers.org/ambassador/training). The training was held at the Dream Center and was open to Ambassadors, Pastors and Men’s Ministry Leaders.

Boot Camp for New Dads : The Gathering of Palm Beach County is celebrating 5 years of Boot Camp in Palm Beach County. The mission of Boot Camp is to help assure every child a father they can count on, no matter what. The first Boot Camp was held in 2003, 400 expectant dads have graduated. There are three focus areas which include forming a new family, caring for a new mom, and becoming a new dad.
