Our children are precious gifts from God.
At The Village Baptist Church our goal is to assist you in the spiritual growth of your children.
Each aspect of our ministry is geared to the development of their spiritual life and guiding them to
grow in a life-long personal relationship with Jesus.
That's why we are passionate about partnering with you in the spiritual growth of your children.
We offer a safe, secure, and loving environment where children feel welcomed and parents can
feel comfortable leaving their children.

Sunday School – 9:00 am

Nursery

(Newborn – 2 years) are cared for in a loving and nurturing environment. Nursery care is available during the 9:00 am Bible study and through the 10:30 am worship service

Preschool
Jesus loves the little children and so do we! Our preschool ministry is a nurturing place where caring adults show children God’s love in a warm, clean and safe environment.

Children through age 4 are assigned to preschool rooms based on their date of birth. They are loved and cared for in their classroom, allowing their parents to attend Bible Study, Fellowship and Worship without worry or concern.

Children
Sunday school is available at 9:00 am for all children. Children are in grade appropriate classrooms. Boys and girls enter a classroom where they are provided with an atmosphere of acceptance, security, learning and love. Through learning experiences appropriate for each level, children are guided to the knowledge of God, the Bible, and how it relates to the world around them and prepare them for a lifetime with Jesus.

Worship – 10:30 am

Preschool Worship

Offered during Adult worship Service at 10:30 am for children ages 3-5. As they worship with their understanding, they learn a Bible story, have interactive activities and “sing joyfully unto the Lord.”

Children’s Church

Children, 1st-6th Grade, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm each Sunday morning in the Fellowship Hall. Worship KidStyle is all about fun music videos, Bible messages and life applications videos tell stories kids can relate to.

Your child will enjoy their very own worship service while you attend our adult worship service.

Age-appropriate games in the AWANA game circle

Every Friday night from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm each week is an action-packed night of high energy games that encourages team enthusiasm and sportsmanship, and Bible memorization through council time messages. The goal of the AWANA club is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Jesus and to train them to serve Him.

The AWANA Clubs are for all children, ages 3 through grade 6.

Cubbies 3 to 4 years
Sparks 5 to 8 years
T & T 9 to 12 years

Baby Dedication

Baby Dedication is a ceremony in which believing parents, and sometimes entire families,
make a commitment before the Lord to submit a child to God’s will and to raise that child
according to God’s Word and God’s ways. This is an opportunity to focus on what will
affect your child’s future. No one will have more influence on your child than YOU!

Helping Hands Needed

A growing ministry ALWAYS needs extra hands. Parents, grandparents, singles and young married couples volunteer to serve on a rotation basis.

We believe the future of our world lies in the minds, hands, and hearts of our children. As we partner together to invest God’s truths in the children of today, we can impact tomorrow for Jesus Christ through these future leaders in families, communities and the world.
